About the University of Nîs
The Faculty of Medicine in Niš was established in 1960 and has a long-standing legacy in medical education, clinical teaching and scientific research. Over the years, the Faculty has developed clinics, institutes and research facilities, while continuously adapting to the changing needs of medical education. It has also been accredited as a scientific-research organisation and by the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Control of the Republic of Serbia.
The Faculty offers study programmes aligned with the Bologna Process, combining academic learning with clinical education and practical training. Its involvement in national and international scientific projects also provides exposure to a wider academic and research environment.
